AJK Government Focuses on Timely Completion of Projects: PM Haq

MIRPUR-AJK: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has vowed to maximize the use of all accessible resources while issuing a stern warning against any delays or corruption.

Speaking at a divisional development review session held late Friday night, PM Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq stressed that the state’s resources are dedicated solely to the advancement and prosperity of its people.

He firmly cautioned against any procrastination or corrupt practices, saying that all development endeavors are under careful scrutiny to ensure efficient fund utilization and timely project completion.

Directing local government officials to conclude all local schemes by May 15th, PM Anwar ul Haq announced the release of funds for ongoing projects in the Mirpur Division during the second week of the following month.

Setting deadlines for the completion of under-construction roads across the Mirpur division, he mandated their completion before June.

Highlighting a saving of 21 billion rupees from various departments this year, the Prime Minister emphasized that these funds will be channeled into further development initiatives.

Ensuring the preservation of law and order remains a paramount concern for the coalition government, stated AJK PM.

The meeting was attended by a cohort of senior officials, including the Senior Minister, Government Secretaries, Chief Engineers, and Divisional and District Officers.
