KARACHI: Eid al-Adha is around the corner and people, especially children, are excited to buy sacrificial animals.

Some people buy cows, goats and sheep, and others choose camels as Eid sacrifices.

The management of Karachi Cattle Market has announced that the market will be opened from May 10 this year in Taiser Town at Northern Bypass.

According to the announcement, ATMs and temporary branches of big banks will also be set up there so that people can easily withdraw their money if they buy animals.

In addition, an ambulance will also be on standby in case of an accident or injury at the cattle market.

Eid al-Adha will be celebrated in June, while the central cattle market opens in the second week of May.

In addition, the parking lot will be larger for buyers and sellers, making it easier to park their cars. Temporary restaurants will also open.

Facilities for businesses have also been extended, including free supply of water and free land for livestock sheds.

During this time, tests are performed to ensure the health of the sacrificed animal. A certificate from the veterinary department is also required to confirm that the animal is healthy.
