Balochistan CM Pledges to Protect Minorities’ Rights, Extends Holi Greetings

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed his commitment on Sunday to ensure the protection of minorities’ rights, extending warm greetings to the Hindu community on the occasion of Holi.

In his message, CM Bugti lauded the contributions of the Hindu community towards the progress and prosperity of the country, emphasizing that their joy is shared by all. “We are equally participating in the happiness of the Hindu community,” he expressed.

Bugti’s remarks come amidst efforts to foster inclusivity and harmony within Balochistan, particularly in safeguarding the rights of minority groups.

In a separate statement made earlier, CM Bugti underscored the imperative of enhancing the governance model in the province. “We need to increase our resources and revenues,” he emphasized.

Regarding security concerns, Bugti asserted, “The terrorists cannot harm Balochistan or the entire Pakistan.”

He further assured that his government remains steadfast in upholding the rights of the province and vowed to pursue them through constitutional means.

“Our name would be etched in history books if we eliminated corruption even by 10 percent,” CM Bugti affirmed, highlighting the administration’s commitment to combatting corruption and ensuring transparent governance.
