KARACHI: All CNG stations throughout Sindh, particularly in Karachi, are scheduled to shut down for a 24-hour period starting from Sunday morning, local media reported on Friday.
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announced a complete suspension of gas supply in Karachi and other cities in Sindh for upcoming 24 hours. This decision is in line with the gas load management plan aimed at addressing the gas shortfall.
According to a spokesperson of Sui Southern Gas Company, the closure will commence at 8 am on Sunday, March 17, and conclude at 8 am on Monday, March 18. The temporary shutdown is expected to impact cargo transportation, public transit, and certain taxi services, particularly in Karachi and other urban centers.
