ABBOTTABAD: In view of the forthcoming general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) approved the transfers and postings of 42 officials on the advice of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Secretary on Saturday.
The list contains officers of grades 18, 19, and 20, most of whom are Deputy Commissioners from Hazara division districts such as Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Kohistan, and Torghar.
Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Khalid Mahmood has been transferred to E&AD, while Shah Rukh DG KP Food Safety and Halal Food Authority has been appointed as DC Abbottabad.
Haripur District Court Aun Haider Gonal was transferred and assigned the position of DG KP Food Safety and Halal Food Authority, while Maqbool Hussain, Deputy Secretary Industries, was assigned the position of DC Haripur. DC Upper Kohistan was told to report E&AD, while Noor Wali Khan, Additional Collector, was told to report as DC Upper Kohistan.
DC Hakmatullah Kolai Palis has been assigned as DC Torghar, while Anwar Zeb, Deputy Secretary Finance Department, has been transferred as Secretary of the Workers Welfare Board. —APP
