Ex-PM Acquitted in LNG Case

ISLAMABAD: The Accountability Court has acquitted Pakistan’s former prime minister Shahid Khaqqan Abbasi in the LNG reference case, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to the local media, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) lawyer on the onset of the hearing today told the court that they are dropping all allegations against Shahid Khaqqan Abbasi in the LNG reference case.

The Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the case against Shahid Khaqqan Abbasi. The Accountability court had delivered the decision on the NAB’s plea for withdrawing the reference against the former Prime Minister.
