LONDON: An old, satirical image regarding horses and cyclists being permitted to travel in the emergency lane of main highways in the UK has resurfaced on different platforms of social media and is being shared many times as if it is a real policy change, local media reported.
The image, which shows a British motorway with a horse has been shared over 100 times on different plate forms of social media. Many people thought that it was an April Fools’ Day joke while many took it as seriously. People expressed mix reaction as one man said that such permission should not be given.

Another social media user said that he would not allow put his horse in such a dangerous situation. However, some section of media reported that it was a satire and had no connection to any official recommendations. It added that the image was first published by BBC social media on April 1, 2017.
