ISLAMABAD: At the end of the third quarter of the current financial year, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected 6,710 billion rupees against an assigned target of 6,707 billion rupees for the first nine months.
Refunds amounting to 369 billion rupees were issued as compared to 254 billion rupees issued during the corresponding period last year.
FBR continues to register a 30 percent growth in revenue collection as compared to the first 9 months of the previous financial year.
Federal Board of Revenue’s Target in March
During the month of March 2024, FBR collected the assigned target of 879 billion rupees, and refunds amounting to 67 billion rupees were issued as compared to 22 billion rupees issued in March 2023.
