ABBOTTABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ghulam Ali inaugurated the Freelancing IT Lab at Abbottabad University of Science and Technology (AUST) on Wednesday.
Addressing the inauguration occasion, he said that freelancing IT labs are important in universities to generate revenue from modern research and technology.
The governor commended the university for getting information technology projects from foreign countries.
He said that all the public sector universities should provide market-oriented education to the students so that they do not have to run for jobs after completing their degrees.
He stressed on making the youth a valuable capital of Pakistan, adding the youth have the talent and abilities to make a name for themselves in every field.
Governor Emphasizes Character Building
Ghulam Ali also emphasized character building of the youth along with the provision of quality education.
He assured all possible cooperation with educational institutions for a better future of the young generation.
