Hayatabad Medical Complex Resumes Sehat Card Services

PESHAWAR: Following the directives of the provincial government, Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) in Peshawar has restored medical treatments and services under the Sehat card facility from Tuesday.

According to the spokesperson of HMC, the primary focus of the hospital administration is to ensure that patients from remote areas, who are beneficiaries of the health facility program, receive necessary care and facilities.
The spokesperson mentioned that the treatment of patients under health cards has resumed in HMC, effective from the 1st of Ramadan 2024.
On Monday, Health Card Focal Person Dr. Sher Zaman, Hospital Director Dr. Shehzad Faisal, and Medical Director Dr. Shahzad Akbar, held discussions with other administrative staff and issued relevant instructions.
The spokesperson assured that all medical facilities supervised by the hospital administration are accessible to Sehat Card holders through the “Patient Facility Center” established by the hospital.
During the month of Ramadan, the regular working hours of the Patient Facility Center will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. —APP
