ISLAMABAD: Internet services across Pakistan were restored after a brief disruption on Tuesday. The outage, which lasted for a short period, affected connectivity nationwide.

According to sources within the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the disruption in internet services may have been caused by issues with the submarine cable. However, telecom industry insiders suggested that the outage appeared to be an internal matter within the network infrastructure.

The responsibility for restoring internet services lies with the PTA and telecom operators. Users of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd. (PTCL) reported the outage on Downdetector, an online platform that monitors and reports real-time information on website and service interruptions.

The exact cause of the disruption remains unclear, but efforts were swiftly made to restore connectivity, and normal internet services have now resumed across the country.
