Iran Announces Legal Action Against Israel for ‘Crimes Against Humanity’

TEHRAN: Iran’s Head of the High Council for Human Rights, Kazem Gharibabadi, has said that legal proceedings will be initiated against Israeli officials for their longstanding crimes against humanity, war crimes, acts of genocide, and other hostile acts.

Speaking to Mehr News Agency, Gharibabadi stated that criminal charges would be brought against Israeli officials, encompassing a range of offenses including crimes against humanity and acts of terrorism.

Iran to File Cases Against Israeli Officials

Gharibabadi further emphasized that additional cases would be opened, focusing on crimes committed by Israeli officials against the Iranian nationals, including incidents such as the killing of scientists and other acts of terrorism and sabotage. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to review complaints filed in international courts against Israel by independent lawyers who support Palestine, indicating a coordinated international legal response against the Israeli regime.

In addition to the legal actions, Gharibabadi underscored the importance of establishing a dedicated legal center to systematically document the alleged crimes of the Israeli regime.
