MULTAN: A delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) visited the Children Complex in Multan to discuss healthcare challenges and ways to enhance medical facilities.
The delegation, comprising Kogi Nakashima, Mika Kuriyama, and Asim Khattak, inspected various sections including wards, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), operation theaters (OTs), and the old block.
According to a spokesperson for the Children Complex, the delegation later held discussions with the Dean, Dr. Kashif Chishti, regarding the hospital’s issues. Dr. Kamran Asif, the Medical Superintendent (MS), Dr. Sohail Arshad from the Cardiology Department, and Dr. Waqas Imran from the Pediatric Medicines Department were also present during the meeting.
