KCEU Calls for Stopping Custodial Killings by Indian Forces in IIOJK

BRUSSELS: Brussels-based Chairman Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU) Ali Raza Syed on Monday urged the international community to play its role to stop the custodial killings and other extra-judicial murders of the Kashmiris by Indian authorities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Strongly condemning the barbaric custodial killing of 3 Kashmiri civilians in the Baffliaz area of the Poonch district of IIOJK, he said that extra-judicial murders of Kashmiri people should be immediately stopped.

It is pertinent to mention here that three civilians, Shabir Ahmad, 32, Mohammad Showkat, 22, and Safeer Hussain, 45, were tortured to death in the Indian Army’s custody at a military torture cell in Poonch on Friday morning.

Expressing deep sorrow and regret over the killing of these civilians, he said, we are shocked that innocent Kashmiri people were imprisoned and tortured to death by the Indian forces.

He said the deaths of these Kashmiris became the cause of anger not only among people in the valley but also among the Kashmiris living in Azad Kashmir and other parts of the world.

Ali Raza Syed that the Modi government has broken all records of atrocities to suppress the just struggle for the right to self-determination of Kashmiris in the occupied territory of disputed territory.

He said that this terrible and disappointing incident exposed once again the Indian ruthless state of terrorism in the valley.  

Extra-judicial Killing Part of India’s Genocide Plan

Ali Raza Syed said that this extra-judicial killing is a part of New Delhi’s plot for genocide of the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir.
