KP Govt Launches Online Driving License Renewal for Expats

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has addressed a longstanding demand from overseas Pakistanis by introducing an online platform for driving license renewal.

Under a notification released by the Inspector General of Police’s office in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, overseas Pakistanis are now able to renew their driving licenses online.

The process involves submitting scanned copies of their passport, national identity card, expired driving license, recent medical fitness certificate, and fee challan to the respective Embassy or High Commission via email. Subsequently, the embassy will transmit the application to the Inspector General of Police’s office in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through official channels.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, emphasized the significance of overseas Pakistanis as valuable assets to the nation. He affirmed the provincial government’s commitment to providing comprehensive support and facilitating their needs.
