KSrelief Implements Three Medical Projects in Yemen

ADEN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has implemented several volunteer medical projects in Yemen’s Aden Governorate, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

The projects are related to burns, deformities, and plastic surgery, specialized clinics, and volunteer training to rehabilitate workers in sports injuries specialties.

The initiative was held from April 27 to May 5, 2024.

43 volunteers from various specialties are involved in the projects in collaboration with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY).

During the campaign, the medical volunteer team affiliated with KSrelief performed 226 successful procedures in the field of burns, deformities, and plastic surgery.

Moreover, 2,317 individuals benefitted from the family medicine clinic, and 587 individuals from the dental clinic. Furthermore, 78 trainees were rehabilitated in sports medicine.

This effort is part of the integrated healthcare projects provided by Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to improve the Yemeni healthcare sector and enhance its services.
