Milk, Egg Production Grew in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK: Eurasian Economic Commission has said that agricultural production has increased in Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.

The Commission said that production of livestock and poultry has increased by 2.2 percent compared to the same period in 2022, milk – by 3 percent, eggs – by 0.9 percent. It maintained that an increase in egg production was recorded in Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

The Eurasian Economic Commission said that agricultural production reduced by 2.2 percent in January-November 2023 in the Eurasian Economic Union.

An increase in production of livestock, poultry and milk was noted in all EAEU member nations excluding Armenia.  As per the commission, an increase in egg production was also observed in Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
