NEOM and Telfaz11 Collaborate on 9 Film and TV Projects in Saudi Arabia

LONDON: NEOM, the media production hub of Saudi Arabia, has entered into a partnership with Telfaz11 studio to collaborate on a minimum of nine TV and film productions over the next three years. The agreement, announced on Thursday, already has two movies and one TV series in development.

Wayne Borg, the Managing Director of Media Industries, Entertainment, and Culture at NEOM, expressed the mission of creating a world-class media hub at NEOM that supports the regional industry to compete and succeed globally.

He emphasized that the partnership with Telfaz11 is aligned with this vision and will accelerate its realization. Borg highlighted NEOM’s evolving infrastructure, skilled workforce, industry learning programs, and competitive incentive schemes as factors contributing to achieving these goals.

NEOM and Telfaz11 Collaboration

Telfaz11’s CEO, Alaa Faden, expressed his honor to be at the forefront of NEOM’s next-generation media and entertainment ecosystem. Faden highlighted Telfaz11’s commitment to innovation, including being the first in the region to launch a partnership with Netflix and leveraging its influential social media presence. The collaboration with NEOM marks another significant milestone for Telfaz11.

As part of the agreement, Telfaz11 will establish offices at NEOM later this year, further strengthening the partnership. NEOM, a megaproject of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, is a technologically advanced smart city and a global media hub. Over the past 18 months, more than 30 productions, including “Desert Warrior,” “Dunki,” and “Rise of the Witches,” have been filmed in NEOM.
