QUETTA: The court of Judicial Magistrate Quetta issued non-bailable arrest warrant of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in the case of defamation against the state institutions.
A case pertaining to defamation of the state institutions against Imran Khan was registered at Bijli Road police station in Quettta.
It may be mentioned that two days back, in the case filed by one Abdul Khalil Kakar, it was alleged that Khan made baseless allegations against the state institutions. It was argued in the petition that the PTI chief spread hatred against the officers of the state institutions by making unjustified inflammatory speeches .
Bail application
PTI chairman Imran Khan had also filed an application for a protective bail in the Quetta case in the Lahore High Court. — APP
