NUST ‘Traditional Sports Gala’ final results announced

ISLAMABAD: The final results of the National University of Science and Technology’s (NUST) recent ‘Traditional Sports Gala’ have been announced.

According to the results, School of Social Sciences and Humanities (S3H) won first place for Women in Dodge Ball, while NUST Institute of Civil Engineering (NICE) won first place for Men. NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) won first place in the Men’s category at Seven Stones, while Institute of Geographical Information Systems (IGIS) finished second.

M Adil of the School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME) won first place in Men’s Arm Wrestling, while Dilek Nadeem of the School of Humanities (S3H) won first place in Women’s Arm Wrestling. NICE won first place in Stappu (Hopscotch), while SEECS came second.

In volleyball, NICE won first place in the Men’s category, while SEECS came in second. In the Women’s category, NBS took first place, with S3H secured second. SEECS A won first place in the Women’s category in Kho Kho, while SEECS B came second. SEECS B won first place in the Men’s category, while SEECS A placed second.

NUST gala prize distribution ceremony next week

SCME won first place in the Men’s Basketball Half Courts category, while School of Art Design and Architecture (SADA) won first place in the Women’s. The Traditional Sports Gala 2023 was a huge success in general, and the participants demonstrated their sportsmanship and competitive spirit. The students’ performance will be recognized at a prize distribution ceremony next week.
