Pakistan Navy Rescues Stranded Iranian Fishermen

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Navy has successfully rescued Iranian Fishermen in the open sea, said Inter-Services of Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Monday.

According to ISPR, the Pakistan Navy’s vessel promptly responded to an emergency call from a ship engulfed in fires at sea, resulting in the successful rescue of 8 stranded Iranian fishermen.

The statement further stated that in a display of exceptional seamanship and humanitarianism, Pakistan Navy’s PNAS Yarmouk swiftly navigated the turbulent waters to reach the distressed vessel, ensuring the safety of the fishermen who were perilously trapped amidst the raging fire onboard.

The timely and decisive action by PNAS Yarmouk not only showcased the Navy’s proficiency in handling maritime crises but also underscored its unwavering commitment to safeguarding human life at sea.
