Pakistan Stock Exchange Witnesses Bullish Trend, Gains 394 Points

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) 100-index on Monday witnessed bullish trend and gained 394.77 points, showing growth of 0.87%, and closed at 45,707.43 points against 45,312.66 points the previous trading day.

A total of 139,251,269 shares were traded during the day in contrast to 161,824,998 shares, whereas the trading value of shares was registered at 4.476 billion rupees against 4.464 billion rupees on the last trading day.

In total, 313 companies transacted their shares in the stock market; 187 of them registered gains and 105 suffered with losses, whereas the share rate of twenty-one companies remained unchanged.

Top Three Trading Companies in Pakistan Stock Exchange

The three high-trading companies were Al-Shaheer Corp with 11,268,667 shares at 10.48 rupees per share; WorldCall Telecom with 11,211,536 shares at 1.17 rupees per share and Dewan Motors with 8,848,489 shares at 16.41 rupees per share.

Cotton Palm recorded a maximum increase of 31.31 rupees per share price, closing at 1,298.30 rupees, whereas the runner-up was Indus Al-Abbas Sugar with 23.98 rupees rise in its per share price to 504.99 rupees.

Mehmood Textile recorded a maximum fall of Rs 47.55 per share closing at 586.45 rupees; followed by Archroma Pak with 27.58 rupees decline to close at 454.42 rupees.
