Pakistan, Swiss Agree to Enhance Cooperation for Climate Change Resilience

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Romina Khurshid Alam on Tuesday met with Elise Lee, the Asia head of Swiss company Pula, to explore strategies for implementing climate change resilience frameworks across federal and provincial governments via comprehensive insurance measures.

They agreed to close collaboration and sustained engagement with a specific focus on enhancing agricultural resilience in Pakistan, read a press release.

During the meeting, Elise Lee expressed her enthusiastic interest in collaborating with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, particularly in bolstering the agricultural sector.
