Pakistani Actress Resham Cites Fear of Divorce as Reason for Avoiding Marriage

ISLAMABAD: Renowned Lollywood actress Resham has opened up about her decision to remain unmarried, expressing her apprehension about the rising rate of divorces in Pakistani society. The veteran actor, who has made her mark in both the film and drama industry, revealed in an interview that she is prioritizing her psychological well-being over marriage.

When questioned about her plans for marriage, Resham candidly stated, “It is more important for me to improve psychologically instead of getting married.” The actress expressed concern over the increasing number of failed marriages in the society, citing numerous cases around her where unions did not endure the test of time.

Resham, often regarded as a Lollywood diva, explained, “I am really scared of the increasing ratio of divorces in our society.
