PARIS: Ambassador of Pakistan to France, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, paid a visit to the training camp of Pakistan Eventing Paris Olympics 2024, located in the Sandillon commune of France.
During his visit, Ambassador Asim engaged with Pakistan’s promising horse rider, Usman Khan, and gained insights into the ongoing qualification events leading up to the Olympics.
Accompanied by Pierre Defrance, a distinguished trainer in the equestrian domain and Usman Khan’s coach, Ambassador Asim received a comprehensive briefing on the rigorous training regimen and preparations underway for the Paris Olympics.
He expressed admiration for Usman Khan’s proficiency in Eventing, which encompasses dressage, show jumping, and cross country disciplines, showcased at the training facility in Sandillon, France.
