Pakistanis Make 2022 a Year of Global Triumph in Health, Education, Technology

ISLAMABAD: Recovering from the setbacks of the pandemic, and suffered with a series of untoward incidents including political, and financial instability and floods, a number of Pakistanis decorated the year 2022 with grand achievements in various walks of life, making the whole nation proud.

Pakistan’s name got praised at the international level in diverse industries throughout the whole year where many talented and creative minds from Pakistan achieved the international feat in their respective fields including health, technology, education, sports, etc.

Four Pakistani were privileged by Forbes making it to their “30 under 30” list. Author and writer Dur-e-Aziz Amna, tech entrepreneur Muhammad Saad, designer Zain Ahmad and social entrepreneur Shawana Shah were some of the brilliant minds who made the nation proud by grabbing this feat.

Education

In the field of education, a number of Pakistani students reflected great hard work and talent by grabbing the highest academic achievement in the Cambridge exams 2022. As announced by Cambridge Assessment International Education over 250 students from Pakistan got the ‘Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards’.

Not only individuals but institutions in education also took the chance to display remarkable performances throughout the year, in return winning the top acknowledgments. In the context of Excellence in learning, Network of Quality, and Teaching and Learning, the Aga Khan University won the Award of Excellence in the Higher Education category 2022 in a competition with more than 30 entries from around the Globe.

Science & Technology

Some Pakistanis received similar achievements in the field of Science & Technology. A joint venture in Games got the silver medal at the International Serious Play awards program. A Pakistani joint venture Active8 Game received the medal under the Annual International Competition for digital leadership training game empire that was held in the United States.

Besides, 10 young Pakistanis were honored with the prestigious ‘Diana Award 2022,’ the most popular globally recognized award, for bringing a positive and long-lasting change among the communities for the improvement of society.

Health

In the Health Sector, another Pakistani Dr. Zulfiqar Bhutta from Aga Khan University won the John Dirks Canada Gairdner Global Health Award for his extraordinary contribution to global health. Another outstanding woman successfully included her name in the global chart by presenting her skills in the culinary industry.

Another lady, Hina Shoaib from Pakistan left us proud by winning the third position at International Chef Competition, becoming the first Pakistani female to win such an award.
