Pakistan’s FM, Rwandan Minister Discuss Cooperation for Youth Uplift

ISLAMABAD: Rwanda’s Minister of Youth Dr Abdallah Utumatwishima called on Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani on the sidelines of the tenth Commonwealth Youth Ministerial Meeting on Tuesday.

In the meeting, the two exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and the exploration of new avenues for the uplift of youth in both countries.

They also agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in multiple spheres.

Pakistan Extends Condolences to Libya Over Loss in Floods

In another important development, Pakistan conveyed condolences to the people and government of Libya over the loss of lives and property due to the floods hitting Northern parts of the country.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement that the government and people of Pakistan extend deep condolences to the people and government of Libya on the devastation caused by the deadly floods in the northeastern areas of Libya.

The spokesperson said that the loss of lives and the sufferings endured by the affected were deeply shocking. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Libyan people during these tough times.

The spokesperson added that Pakistan’s embassy in Libya is monitoring the situation and is in contact with the local authorities for possible help and support to the community.
