Pakistan’s Registered Voters Cross 126 Million Figure: ECP

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Monday issued a report that showed the number of registered voters in the country had crossed over 126 million as of 30 June 2023.

The electoral body also released the percentage of voters in terms of age, revealing that the highest number of voters remained within the age group of twenty-six to thirty-five years.

As per the report, the ratio of male and female voters in the country stood at 54.02% and 45.98%, respectively.

The number of registered voters in the capital city of Islamabad was over 1 million, while the province of Punjab topped with 71.60 million voters.

Voters in provinces

The number of voters in Balochistan province is over 5.27 million, of which 2.96 million are men and 2.31 million are women.

The number of voters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is over 21.62 million, of which 11.79 million are men and 9.82 million are women.

In Punjab, the number of voters is 71.60 million, of which 38.41 million are male and 33.19 million are female.

Likewise, the number of registered voters in Sindh province is 26.52 million, of which 14.38 million are men and 12.14 million are women.
