RAWALPINDI: Three terrorists were killed and another was arrested in an intelligence-based operation conducted by Pakistan’s security forces in southwest Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a statement released on Tuesday.
According to ISPR, on the night of April 22nd to 23rd, security forces carried out the operation in the Pishin district of Balochistan based on reports of terrorist presence.
During the operation, following intense gunfire, three terrorists were neutralized, while one was apprehended in an injured condition, identified as an Afghan national.
A substantial cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives was recovered during the operation.
The security forces of Pakistan, in alignment with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts to disrupt the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan, read the statement.
