GENEVA: Palestine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Riyad Al-Maliki, met with Lars Lokke Rasmussen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, on the margins of the work of the Human Rights Council at its 55th session.

Al-Maliki informed Rasmussen of the latest developments in the Palestinian issue, especially the genocide committed by Israel against the people in Gaza and its crimes that forced Palestinians to flee to the city of Rafah.

He referred to the old and new Israeli projects that repeated the Nakba in exterminating the Palestinians or forcibly displacing them.

Israel’s Crimes in Palestine

Al-Maliki highlighted Israel’s crimes in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, the continuous invasions of Palestinian cities, towns, and camps, the mass killings, and the terrorism of the colonialists, particularly before the advent of Ramadan and their plans to attack the freedom of Palestinians to worship during the holy month.

Lars Løkke Rasmussen affirmed that his country was supporting the right of the Palestinians to self-determination, the two-state solution, and their follow-up to the tragedies that the people of Palestine suffer from.
