LAHORE: The Pakistan Football Federation has praised the selection of Ihsan Ahmad as the debutant Assistant Referee in the FIFA Referee List 2024.
According to a statement by Football House Lahore, on Thursday, Member FIFA-appointed Normalisation Committee Muhammad Shahid Niaz Khokhar was the chief guest on the occasion.
Manager Referee PFF Khurram Shahzad, Senior Vice President of PFRA, Waheed Murad, PFF officials and junior referees also attended the event.
Ihsan Ahmad said expressing his views thanked PFF NC for believing in him. He added the Referee Courses are being done across the country and PFF is putting in unprecedented efforts. “I hope this helps the younger referees a lot,” he said.
Member PFF NC Muhammad Shahid Niaz Khokhar on the occasion emphasized the vital role referees play in football, adding that they are the most important part of the game.
He expressed his joy at the selection of Ihsan Ahmad and the other Referees and Assistant Referees for the FIFA Referee List 2024, terming it a proud moment for Pakistan. He extended his best wishes for their upcoming projects.
