ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met president-elect Asif Ali Zardari at Zardari House here on Saturday evening and congratulated him on becoming the 14th President of Pakistan for the second time. Earlier he also served as President of the country from September 2008 till September 2013.
Meanwhile, during the meeting of the two dignitaries, the Prime Minister expressed best wishes for Asif Ali Zardari on his election. Asif Zardari thanked the Prime Minister for support of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in the election for President.
It is worth mentioning here that Asif Ali Zardari would take oath on Sunday, 10th of March 2024 and would replace the outgoing president Dr Arif Alvi. Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Esa would administer the oath to Asif Ali Zardari.
