PM Shehbaz Promises Employment, Education Support for Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed various matters including the security situation concerning the southwest province of Pakistan. 

As per details, Shehbaz Sharif, during the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s House, expressed grief over the loss of lives due to recent rains in Balochistan. PM Shehbaz vowed to stand by the affected families and pledged to boost employment opportunities in the volatile province.

Emphasizing the significance of education, the Prime Minister assures full cooperation in enhancing educational standards in Balochistan. He also underscores the importance of leveraging the region’s mineral resources for development.

The meeting, attended by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, highlights the government’s commitment to economic stability.

PM Shehbaz, in a separate engagement with the Istanbul Grand Airport delegation, emphasized Pakistan’s reliance on public-private partnerships for growth.

Expressing openness to expanding investment and partnership with Turkey, the Prime Minister assured transparency in airport outsourcing processes and prioritised passenger convenience. The delegation shows interest in investing and partnering with Pakistan.
