ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has revealed the election manifesto today (Saturday) by the party’s leader, Nawaz Sharif.

The party unveiled its manifesto under the slogan of ‘Pakistan Ko Nawaz Do.’ After the manifesto was unveiled, the leader of the PML-N addressed the media and stated that his party will see to it that the policies outlined in it were carried out, emphasizing that the nation’s economic situation remains the main issue.

Nawaz criticized the PTI-led government, accusing it of burdening the poor with inflation and blamed them for power outages.

He also mentioned that some people don’t even have a manifesto and that action is a distant concept. Nawaz stated, nevertheless, that he wishes to address every issue facing the nation.

The leader of the PML-N further stated that while he was in government, a tractor was valued at Rs900,000, and a car, which was valued at Rs2 million, is now worth Rs10 million.

The former prime minister told the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that they now had to demonstrate their responsibility. Reiterating that he has always “done politics on principles,” he is now focused on the politics of growth rather than revenge.

The former prime minister said, “The country would have looked different if we had been allowed to work without interference.”

Kicking off the launch, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, Chairman of the Manifesto Committee, expressed confidence that every commitment in the manifesto is achievable when the PML-N assumes power.

Siddiqui emphasized that Nawaz Sharif explicitly instructed the committee to refrain from including any promises in the manifesto that the party cannot fulfill in the future.

He highlighted that Sharif had specifically prohibited the inclusion of false promises, and the committee operated under the direct guidance of the leadership during the drafting process.

According tohim, the delay in the manifesto’s announcement was due to the party’s concentrated efforts on incorporating reforms during the preparation phase.
