President Sadyr Japarov Visits Azerbaijan

BAKU: Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov held a meeting with his counterpart in Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation.

Discussions spanned trade, investment, energy, transportation, agriculture, culture, and humanitarian efforts.

Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress made in recent years, crediting previous high-level talks and signed agreements for enhancing the quality and depth of their countries’ interaction.

Following their meeting, Japarov and Aliyev convened the second session of the Interstate Council between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.

Aliyev highlighted the alignment in the two nations’ approaches to cooperation, both bilaterally and within broader multilateral frameworks.

He also emphasized the regular communication and collaboration between relevant ministries from both countries on various shared interests.

Japarov expressed confidence that his visit to Azerbaijan would significantly advance bilateral relations, with the signed documents serving to broaden cooperation. He reiterated Kyrgyzstan’s readiness to further develop collaboration across existing and future mechanisms.

During the visit, a total of 18 bilateral documents were signed, further underlining the commitment of both nations to deepen their partnership across multiple sectors, including trade, culture, energy, and agriculture.
