Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Eid Call with Kuwaiti Counterpart

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received warm Eid greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, during a phone call on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.

In their conversation, Prime Minister Sharif expressed gratitude for Kuwait’s leadership and their messages of felicitations on his re-election. He highlighted the longstanding cordial and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Kuwait, affirming Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of both nations.

Emphasizing the importance of enhancing economic and trade cooperation, Prime Minister Sharif assured the Kuwaiti side of Pakistan’s dedication to successfully implement the agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed between the two countries last year.

Both leaders exchanged Eid wishes and prayed for peace, prosperity, and unity among the Muslim Ummah. They particularly condemned Israeli atrocities against innocent Palestinians in Gaza, underscoring the need for an end to such injustices.

Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah conveyed his best wishes for the people of Pakistan, reiterating Kuwait’s commitment to strengthen and deepen its cooperative partnership with Pakistan.
