Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital Continues to Provide Services to Prophet’s (SAWW) Mosque Visitors

MADINAH: The Seasonal Medical Center of Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital in Madinah continues to provide medical and emergency services to visitors of the Prophet’s (SAWW) Mosque, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

According to statistics since its inception until Saturday, the center handled 12,159 cases, including 4,906 women and 7,253 men. Additionally, 37 cases were referred to other hospitals associated with the Ministry of Health.

Out of the total cases 167 were bandaging cases, 11,213 outpatient cases, 83 respiratory therapy cases, and 696 emergency cases.

The center, is keen to providing medical and emergency services to the guests of Allah and visitors of the Prophet’s (SAWW) Mosque. It is is equipped with eight triage points and six primary clinics for care of the patients and is expandable to 8 clinics.

It also has 18 emergency observation beds, two mobile medical clinic vehicles with six observation beds, five emergency beds, and a resuscitation bed.

The center has 23 tents, comprising an emergency tent with nine beds, a therapeutic nutrition and health education tent, a sunstroke tent with two beds, two tents for bandaging, a laboratory, a pharmacy and a tent for religious enrichment.
