ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is organizing a 4-day Thal Desert Jeep Rally from November 9 to 12, 2023. The rally is likely to attract over one hundred male and female drivers from across the country.
An official of PTDC said that the rally will start at Changa Manga tail-head Muhammadwala and cover a distance of two hundred kilometers through Layyah, Muzaffargarh, and Kot Addu. The track’s middle section is located in Chobara Tehsil Layyah.
He said online registration for the rally is underway at PTDC offices in Lahore, Multan, and Bahawalpur. Participants must register their jeeps or vehicles and undergo a technical examination and medical check-up. A drivers and navigators conference and draws will be held on November 9 from 7 to 9 pm.

He said that the rally will feature a qualifying round and races in eleven categories, including a stock category race, a bike race, and women’s categories. Cultural fairs and other programs are also part of the event.
The official added that the administration is utilizing all possible resources to ensure the success of the Jeep rally. All stakeholders are working together to make the event a great experience for participants and spectators both.
