LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to attend the joint session of parliament, which was adjourned till March 27, a day after the Election Commission of Pakistan postponed the April elections in Punjab.

Addressing a presser on Thursday, PTI Secretary General Asad Umar said that the party members will raise their voice against the ‘unconstitutional move’ of the ECP. He said that as per the constitution, a caretaker government cannot remain legitimate following the expiration of its 90 days deadline.

He also condemned the police action against PTI, saying that the houses of its leaders and workers were being raided while many members are currently behind the bars.
