KARACHI: Pakistan women’s cricketer Sidra Amin has expressed confidence in the readiness of the Pakistan Women’s Team for their upcoming encounter against West Indies. Emphasizing their thorough preparation, she highlighted the significance of spinners in determining the outcome of the matches. Reflecting on their previous series against West Indies, Amin acknowledged the team’s underperformance but remained optimistic about the upcoming fixtures. She praised the prowess of their spin attack, recognizing it as a crucial asset.

During a media interaction at the National Bank Stadium, she conveyed the team’s determination to rectify past shortcomings and deliver commendable performances. Simultaneously, the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team engaged in an intensive training session at the same venue.

Under the watchful eye of their trainer, they focused on enhancing their batting, bowling, and fielding skills. With the series comprising three ODIs and five T20I matches set to kick off at the National Bank Stadium on April 18, the anticipation for competitive cricket between Pakistan and West Indies Women’s teams is palpable. Importantly, the ODIs hold significance as part of the ICC Women’s Championship, adding an extra layer of intensity to the contests.
