ISLAMABAD: England announced their squad for the Pakistan series and the upcoming ICC T20I World Cup, which would be kicked off in the United States and West Indies from June 1, 2024.

English fast bowler Jofra Archer has finally made his comeback and has been included in England’s ICC T20 World Cup squad after being out of the play for a long time due to injury.

Despite a series of ups and downs particularly his injury issues, the 29-year-old is now all fit to show his skills in the mega event. Alongside him, the experienced Chris Jordan also managed to include himself in the squad whereas promising spinner Tom Hartley grabbed his first call-up as well.

The English board made the announcement just a day before ICC’s deadline, which may follow changes if needed. The English team would first face Pakistan in the T20 series against Pakistan starting on May 22 and then would move to the mega ICC event.

England Squad: Jos Buttler (capt & wk), Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Jonny Bairstow, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Ben Duckett, Liam Livingstone, Tom Hartley, Will Jacks, Chris Jordan, Phil Salt, Reece Topley, Mark Wood and Adil Rashid
