Saudi Leadership Offers Condolences to Brazilian President Over Flooding

JEDDAH: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, has offered condolence and sympathy to the President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva over massive floods in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, resulting in casualties, injuries, and missing persons, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

King Salman in his cable, extended his deepest condolences to the Brazilian president, the families of the deceased and the Brazilian people. He hoped for the safe return of the missing and the swift recovery of the wounded.

Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, has also sent a cable of condolence and sympathy to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

In his cable, Crown Prince expressed his deepest condolences to the Brazilian president, the families of the deceased, and the people of the country. He wished for the safe return of the missing and the swift recovery of the injured.
