ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkiye and Azerbaijan are laying down the foundation stone of a new era in the region.
Addressing during an event, Erdogan said, “With Azerbaijan, we are establishing the framework for a new era in the region. As Armenia shows will to improve in peace, security, and serenity, things will go more quickly towards stability.”
Turkish landmark initiative
Erdogan stresses that Turkiye is ready for the most significant development in its entire one-thousand-year-old regional history under the vision of the “Century of Turkiye” policy initiative.
Justice party and Turkish President
Turkish president Erdogan, who is also the chairman of the Justice and Development (AK) Party, of Turkiye revealed a number of programs, projects, and goals ahead of the Turkish general elections as Turkiye is ready to celebrate its 100 years in the next year 2023.
Turkish President on Turkiye relations
Turkish President Erdogan said that on the one side, we are developing our relations with the Islamic countries and on the other side, we are incorporating our relations with the Turkic world (Central Asian states). Although, Turkiye is improving relations with Africa and the Balkan states. Erdogan added that Turkiye has not forgotten its ties with Russia, China, Ukraine, and the US, either.
Turkish focus on Erzurum
It is pertinent to mention that the Turkish Eastern Erzurum province is one of the most critical geographical regions, which allows Turkiye to become a transit hub of oil and natural gas transportation. Erzurum province also provides a Turkiye trade route from Asia to Europe.
