GUJRAT, Pakistan: Wedding joy turned into tragedy as three members of a groom’s family died in fire in Gujrat district of Pakistan, SAMAA TV reported late Wednesday.
It said the groom’s mother, sister-in-law, and nephew were burnt to death in the wedding ceremony.
The incident took place in in Gujarat’s Dande Mar locality. As the groom’s mother, sister-in-law, and nephew died, another person sustained injuries due to fire in the marriage hall.
SAMAA TV reported the fire broke out due to a short circuit.
