Women Innovators Celebrates Graduation of Saudi Business Women

WASHINGTON: The WIn (Women Innovators) Fellowship Program celebrated the graduation of the first-ever batch of Saudi businesswomen with the participants. The gathering was graced by Deputy Chief Mission Prince Mosab bin Mohammed bin Farhan on behalf of the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the U S Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.

The WIn Fellowship Program is part and parcel of the Atlantic Council’s EmpowerME Initiative in collaboration with McDonough School of Business of Georgetown University, with backing from the US Embassy in Riyadh, PepsiCo, UPS, and the American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia’s Women in Business Committee.

The first batch of Saudi businesswomen

In the one-year program from March 2022 to March 2023, the participating women from Saudi Arabia were enabled to improve their skills, enhance their practical knowledge and build networks with the business community and individuals in Saudi Arabia and in the United States of America.

The first batch comprised Rawan Al-kharboosh, Ceao and founder of a biotechnology company, Renad Al-Jafry, CEO of a company specializing in exploring job opportunities for persons with disabilities in the healthcare industry, and Sarah bin Laden, a data analysis specialist and woman entrepreneur and. – APP
