PESHAWAR: Provincial Labor Minister Fazal Shakoor Khan announced plans for the imminent establishment of the Workers Welfare Board, affirming that dedicated individuals committed to addressing workers’ concerns would be appointed as board members.

Chairing a meeting of the Workers Welfare Board, Khan emphasized the importance of prioritizing quality education within the educational institutions under the board’s management.

Discussions during the meeting encompassed a range of welfare issues, including scholarships for schoolchildren and other facilities provided to them.

Moreover, the meeting discussed topics such as marriage grants and the development of labor colonies. Khan reiterated the commitment to promptly establish the Workers Welfare Board through consultation, ensuring the appointment of capable individuals as members.

Highlighting the elected officials’ obligation to serve the populace, Khan pledged equitable distribution of resources to address public grievances comprehensively.
