RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted six successful operations across the country, resulting in the recovery of 133 kg of drugs and the arrest of six individuals, according to an ANF Headquarters spokesman on Tuesday.
Here are the details of the operations:
At Islamabad Airport, 2.4 kg of Ice was seized from two passengers bound for Middle East.
At Peshawar Airport, 700 grams of Ice was confiscated from a passenger heading to Doha.
In Nowshera, 87 kg of hashish and 33.9 kg of opium were recovered during an operation.
Additionally, 5 kg of hashish and 1 kg of opium were seized from an individual detained in Tandujam, Hyderabad.
In Karachi (Sohrab Goth), 2.7 kg of hashish was confiscated from an arrested suspect.
Near Turki Toll Plaza in Jhelum, 600 grams of hashish were recovered from a drug smuggler.
The arrested individuals have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and further investigations are currently underway.
