MULTAN: Commissioner Maryam Khan of the Multan division said that 2.6 million children were receiving anti-polio vaccinations throughout the division.
Official reports indicate that within the initial two days of the campaign, 1.6 million children received the necessary doses. Approximately 10,000 teams are actively participating in administering vaccinations across all four districts, including Multan, Khanewal, Vehari, and Lodhran, within the Multan division.
Khan emphasized the it’s our duty to eradicate polio, stressing that a polio-free Pakistan is crucial for securing the future of the youth. Additionally, she urged parents to cooperate with the vaccination teams. –APP
