ISLAMABAD: A passionate protest organized by the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference unfolded in front of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, echoing vehement condemnation against the ongoing atrocities and human rights violations perpetrated by Indian occupation forces in Occupied Kashmir.

Protesters, chanting fervent slogans such as “We want independence” and “Go India go back,” expressed their resolute demand for freedom. The demonstration underscored the grim reality of daily massacres and human rights abuses faced by Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir, with speakers vehemently condemning Indian state terrorism.

The recent tragic incident in Rajouri district, where four youths lost their lives during detention, drew particular attention, further fueling the protestors’ condemnation of India’s actions. The speakers emphasized that Kashmiris continue to sacrifice for their right to self-determination.

Addressing the gathering, speakers denounced the Indian government’s attempts to stifle the spirit of freedom in Kashmir, particularly through the banning of organizations such as Hurriyat, Jammu Kashmir Muslim League, and Tehreek Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir. They termed these actions as blatant ignorance by the occupying authorities.

The international dimension of the Kashmir issue was highlighted, with a call to the world conscience to awaken to the genocide unfolding in Kashmir. Speakers expressed concern over the apparent silence of human rights organizations and the United Nations, urging them to address the atrocities and implement UN resolutions on Kashmir.

As the demonstration concluded, a strong warning was issued to the international community, emphasizing the urgency of ending Indian state terrorism in Occupied Kashmir. The protesters reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the cause of independence, asserting that Kashmiris would not hesitate to make any sacrifice until their freedom is realized.
