ISLAMABAD: Create a Culinary Masterpiece with Chicken Tikka Crepe Rolls and savour the flavours.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg boneless chicken chunks
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 3 tbsp Tikka masala
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- Heated charcoal (for smoking)
- 1 tsp oil (for smoking)
Crepes Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 cup oil
Chicken Tikka Crepes Ingredients:
- Prepared crepes
- Prepared chicken tikka
- Flour mixture (1 tbsp all-purpose flour + 1/4 cup water)
- 1/2 cup frying oil
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine chicken, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, Tikka masala, and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated chicken. Cook until fully done.
- Place heated charcoal in an aluminum cup in the centre of the pan. Drizzle oil over the charcoal and cover the pan with a lid. Let it smoke for 1-2 minutes. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, eggs, salt, yogurt, milk, and oil until well combined.
- Take 1/2 cup of batter and spread it evenly on a preheated pan. Cook each side for 1-2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter to make crepes. Set aside.
- Place the prepared chicken tikka mixture on each crepe.
- Roll the crepes into a roll shape and seal the edges with the flour mixture.
- Fry the rolls until they are light golden on each side.
- Your Chicken Tikka Crepe Rolls are ready to serve.
